When designing treo, I found inspiration in triangular geometric patterns and a leisurely lifestyle. treo is designed for everyday use. Simply slip the shoes on and go.
treo comes in a flat package with thread, needle, and instructions included for easy assembly.
treo is created from a pattern laser cut into felt. The pattern was drafted by hand by wrapping a foot last in tape and drawing the design onto the tape. The tape was then removed and the pattern was cut apart in such a way that it could lay flat and be packed flat before assembly. The triangular pattern on the sides of the shoes was hand-stitched into the felt once the pattern shape was cut. Once the user receives the shoes, they would assemble them by sewing them together by hand.
